About
I'm a 15-years' experienced Maths teacher, Head of Department, and resource developer. I have helped thousands of students not only achieve well above their target grades, but also to enjoy a subject they often previously didn't! I will work with you to figure out what needs learning and set about helping you to achieve that in a way that is proven to work.

I tutor in such a way that topics are taught:
-
properly in the first instance (no shortcuts! - they don't work),
-
are linked with other maths topics
-
and are remembered so that you will become more successful at maths and achieve more highly in your exams.
I can combine this approach with YOUR personal preference for how you want sessions to run:
-
following your school's scheme of learning
-
assessing where you are mathematically and building on it
-
and/or using sessions as a 'Q & A' offer – whichever works best for you.
